Peppermint

According to some discoveries-

The peppermint plant is actually a hybrid of watermint and spearmint and was first described by Carl Linneaus in 1753. A high menthol content—like that found in the Peppermint essential oil—distinguishes the best quality Peppermint from other products. Frequently used in toothpaste for oral health, Peppermint also helps to alleviate stomach upset and promotes healthy respiratory function.

People primarily use peppermint to sooth their tension/fatigue headaches Commonly use it to repel ants, freshen breath, mix it with orange and diffuse it in the mornings as a “wake up” blend or  simply inhale it to wake up and people use it to reduce fevers as well.

One of the benefits of peppermint essential oil
--------------------------------------------------------
Peppermint essential oil contains properties that help induce the expulsion of gas from the intestines and stomach. This is what makes it very helpful in treating flatulence and related stomach problems.
The oil has an antispasmodic action which works by relaxing the digestive muscles and as a result improving their ability to function.

To use it on for stomach problems, dilute well (1 drop to 10 drops carrier oil) and massage the stomach and abdomen in a clockwise direction.

Drinking organic peppermint tea can also help with stomach issues and complement the essential oil massage.
